Join us at two special Black History Month events:
#1: On Feb 24th 5-8pm: BHM Celebration at Vagabond Taproom (Alder Street in Oakland). This evening will be filled with (self-purchased) special African menu, drinks, poetry, and BHM team games. Come have fun and support a local business.
#2: On Feb 27th at 6:30pm, join us at Garrett College GIEC Building Room 111 for BHM “Movie Night”. Come enjoy a film that will educate and inspire us as we consider the many Black Americans who have made a difference in our lives. Snacks will be provided and discussion will follow.
