On February 25th, GCNAACP leaders and members attended @naacpallegany annual Voice of Freedom Awards & Gala at the Allegany County Fairgrounds. Many tables filled with leaders and community members enjoyed an unforgettable evening of speeches, singing, music, catered food, and more. Another component of the evening was the presentation of awards, including one to GCNAACP’s very own @haelcat (Haeli Gustafson, co-owner of @meadowmountainhemp)! She was presented with a beautiful, handmade award as 2023 Garrett County Black Businessowner of the Year. Shout out to @farmerd_gc (Darryl Glotfelty, Haeli’s husband) for keeping it a secret for so long!
